NJB offers an All-Star program where each Chapter's best divisional athletes get to compete for the NJB National Championship.

All-Star teams compete against other NJB Chapters in a round robin type format.  The initial weekend of competition (Area Tournaments) are between Chapters in close proximity to each other.  First and second place finishers move on to Sectional Tournaments usually held the following weekend.  Sectional Champions and Runner-ups are then invited to play in NJB’s National All-Star Tournament.  See our Calendar for All-Star Tournament dates.

Separate tournaments are available for 3rd Grade, 5th Grade, and 7th Grade Teams.

Chino Valley selects a minimum of 6 All-Star teams, one for each of our Girls 1, Girls 2, Girls 3, Boys 1, Boys 2, and Boys 3 divisions.  3rd, 5th, and/or 7th grade only teams may be created based upon the number of player nominations for a particular grade level and coaching interest.  Additionally, 2nd teams in each of the 3 boys divisions may be created given the large number of players which participate in our league if the number of nominations and coaching interest warrant.

All-Star teams are responsible for the cost of the All-Star program.  Last year's cost was $50 per player which covered uniform modifications and Area/Sectional tournament fees.  Should a team advance to the National Tournament an additional team fee of TBD ($350) will be assessed to cover National's registration fee.
