A message from a concerned parent:

Imagine watching your child(ren) play their NJB game on an outside court, when it's cold and damp.  Imagine your child(ren) not being able to play a full schedule because of rainouts.  These scenarios sure do not sound like an enjoyable experience, do they?

Every high school principal in the Chino Valley would be completely justified in denying any further use of their gyms for the NJB program.  The use of the gyms is a privilege, not a right!!  Each and every individual who brings food and/or drink (including water) into the gym, and then often compounds the situation by leaving a trail of litter behind, is jeopardizing this very important, yet revocable privilege.

For all of you who violate this basic, reasonable rule regarding food, drink and littering, I strongly suggest you attend a local junior high game in January.  Maybe then, you will appreciate how much you and your child(ren) benefit from being able to watch and play basketball indoors, with hardwood floors, glass backboards, and all the other amenities only a gymnasium can offer!

PLEASE STOP THIS IRRESPONSIBLE BEHAVIOR, FOR YOUR CHILD(REN)'S SAKE, AND FOR EVERY CHILD WHO PARTICIPATES IN NJB IN THE FUTURE!!
